View the state and health of flows

  • Last UpdatedJun 26, 2026

The Flows page provides a detailed status and health information for deployed flows. The page is not updated continuously or automatically.

Update flow status information

  • Select the Refresh icon on the filter bar above the list of flows to update data for all flows monitored.

State chart

The State chart indicates the state of all deployed flows by assigning the following colored labels:

  • Running: The flow is actively running.

  • Pending: Any flows that are about to change state. For example, a deployed flow runtime takes time to download and run hosted flows. These flow runtimes appear pending until they start running.

Note: If you take actions on flows deployed on flow runtimes that are currently offline, related flows may remain in a pending state for awhile.

  • Not Running: The flows deployed on a flow runtime are not currently running. This status may be intentional (when someone actively stops a flow) or unintentional due to an error.

  • Failed: The flow runtime or deployment failed, and the flow did not start.

Status chart

The Status chart displays the following colored labels to indicated deployed flows' health statuses:

  • OK: There no issues.

  • Error: Any errors reported by flows that may have caused flows to stop running. When you reset the error/warning count, flows in error are restored to OK status.

  • Warning: Any warnings reported by flows. The error count can be reset, which restores the flow status to OK.

  • Other: A flow is in a transition state and has not yet reached a result state.

Deployed Flows list

Each flow that is deployed to a different flow runtime is counted as a distinct flow and tracked independently. For each deployed flow, the following information is shown:

  • A bar that shows the status of a flow

  • The name and description of a specific version of a flow

  • The version number

  • The flow runtime to which the flow is deployed

  • Current uptime and state

  • An issue count of any open errors and warnings

Sort the deployed flows list

  1. Select the carat icon next to the Sort by heading, then select one of the sort options (State, Status or Type) from the dropdown menu.

The flow list is sorted by the selected sort option.

  2. Select the up/down arrow in front of the Sort by heading to toggle the flow list in ascending or descending order.

Tip: Sorting by flow runtime name can be useful to compare multiple flows running on the same flow runtime.

Filter the deployed flows list

  • Select the carat icon next to one of the sort options (State, Status or Type), then select a label.

Only flows that meet the label criteria are shown in the flow list.

State and Status charts may also be used to filter the list:

  • Select a corresponding segment or legend item in either the State or Status chart to filter the list by that segment.

Note: Filters applied through the filter bar are cumulative. Filters applied through the State and Status charts override existing filters.

Load metrics for flows

The deployed flows list also contains metric data for resource consumption and data input and output, which can help identify flows that consume excessive amounts of resources.

  • Select Show/Hide Metrics to show or hide metric values.
