This topic explains how to adjust the layout of the Flow Studio canvas, and also how to use the pan and zoom features.

Adjust the layout

Once your basic flow is in place, you can adjust the flow layout using the following techniques.

  • Move selected modules by dragging the module with your mouse.

You can move multiple selected modules in the same way, by first holding down the Shift key and selecting them individually, or by dragging a rectangle around them.

  • Select individual connections and use the handles to change their layout.

  • To delete a connection, select the connection line, then select the red x icon.

  • To delete a module, select the module, then select the Remove module icon.

  • Open the Module Action menu by hovering over a module and then selecting the More Options icon. On the Module Action menu, select Duplicate to duplicate a module or to restore manual layout changes, select Redraw input path or Redraw output path.

Pan and zoom

When working with large flows you can use pan and zoom features to focus on a specific section or aspect.

To pan:

  • Select-and-hold on an empty space, then drag.

If you have zoomed in, you can also use the mini-view in the lower-right corner of the canvas.

To zoom in or out on the modules, use any of the following methods:

  • Scroll with the mouse scroll wheel.

  • Use the zoom controls in the lower-left corner of the canvas.

  • Select a zoom setting using the Zoom button in the upper-right.
