Build custom modules

You can build custom modules that connect to REST APIs using the Universal Connector wizard. The wizard walks you through the module creation process from start to finish. API requests can use both user settings and data from incoming flow messages.

Note: The Universal Connector wizard is intended for users with a basic understanding of REST APIs and API documentation. Modules built with the Universal Connector wizard are only available to users in your organization.

Once published, a Universal Connector module looks just like any other module in Flow Studio’s Module library. Custom modules can be versioned as well.

Note: Separate permissions are required to manage, create, and modify Universal Connectors. However, all users can use Universal Connector modules in flows.
