Monitor flow runtimes

The Flow runtimes page provides tools to monitor flow runtimes.

Flow runtimes chart

The Flow runtimes chart displays the following states of all deployed flow runtimes:

• Online

• Offline

Deployed Runtimes list

This list displays all flow runtimes deployed in your environment. For each flow, the table displays the following information:

• A color bar and state indicator to show current flow runtime status

• The name of the flow runtime

• The type of runtime

• The flow runtime version

• When the flow last communicated with Flow manager and the current uptime

• The number of flows running on the node

Show flow runtime details and controls

You can show full details and manage properties for each flow runtime entry.

• Select a flow runtime in the list

  The Flow runtime details window opens.

Sort the flow list

The sort and filter bar above the deployed runtimes list is used to sort by columns in the list. You can filter the list by flow State, Type or Label. You can also show operational metrics related to each runtime.

1. Select the carat icon next to Sort by heading, select a sort option.

2. Select the up/down arrows to toggle the list in ascending or descending order.

Filter the flow list

• Select the carat icon to the right of the State, Type and Label headings.

  Note: Filters applied through the filter bar are cumulative. Filters applied through the State and Status charts override existing filters.

View load metrics

The deployed flows list also contains metric data on resource consumption and data input and output, which helps identify flow runtimes that have excessive amounts of resources being consumed.

• Select Show/Hide Metrics to show or hide metric values.
