Flow Studio is where you build, test, and deploy flows. The Flow Studio workspace is comprised of six main sections.

List of Flow Studio components

  1. Workspace menu: Used to access and display tools and resources used to build flows. Each item opens a related panel.

  2. Module library: Contains a comprehensive list of all the modules you can use in a flow. You can drag modules from the Module library to the canvas. Modules can be filtered by category as well as located using search.

  3. Drawing canvas: The workspace where flows are built and edited. The icons at the top are used to arrange and remove module elements on the canvas. If multiple flows are open, they appear as tabs at the top of the canvas.

  4. Test & Debug panel: Where you debug flows before deployment, and connect to a flow runtime or sandbox to test a flow.

  5. Project menu: Contains the Deploy, Save, and Exit buttons. Provides access to the following flow development tools:

    • Test & Debug: Used to debug and test flows prior to deployment.

    • Notifications: View errors and warnings for flows.

    • Settings: View and update settings and metadata related to the selected flow.

    • Resources: View all resources used by the selected flow, and add new resources to the flow.

    • Annotations: View all annotations for the selected flow.

  6. Flow runtime Connect: View the status of the current flow runtime connection.
