Manual Data Acquisition System. Processes that can accept non-I/O Server data and send it to the historian to be historized. Data is passed to the manual data acquisition service through a COM interface. MDAS is used by Industrial Application Server, the INSQL OLE DB provider, the event subsystem, and custom client.
