Lot

A uniquely identifiable amount of material for which a single set of measurements defines the composition, quantity, and process characteristics. For accounting and production control purposes, the plant treats a lot as a unit in processing. With AVEVA Production Management, you can generate unique identifiers for lots, and you can configure AVEVA Production Management to track them at key measurement points known in AVEVA Production Management as items of equipment.
