PI group

In PI Server 3.4.380 and earlier, a valid group defined in the PI group database. In PI Server 2010 or later, a special type of PI identity, created to maintain backward compatibility. Like other PI identities, PI groups control access to PI objects and they can map to a Windows-authenticated entity. Unlike other PI identities, PI groups can have one or more PI users as members.
