equipment balance

The amount of material in the equipment item. Depending on the equipment, it can contain more than one type of material. AVEVA Production Management can record a material balance for each type of material that is placed in a particular equipment item over time. This balance is equal to the total quantity of the material that moved into the equipment, less the total quantity of the material that moved out of the equipment.
