Sendout

The amount of gas sent to residential customers. Note: The actual sendouts are not measured. Gas entering the pipeline is measured, as well as the gas delivered to industrial customers. However, residential homes have meters that are read monthly (or at higher frequency), but not hourly or daily. Therefore, the actual sendout is calculated as a difference between gas that has entered the pipeline and gas that was delivered to industrial customers.
