PI MDB

PI Module Database. A component for certain PI System products, particularly those dealing with batch data and processes. Used to build a visual representation of a plant. Even though PI Asset Framework can replace PI MDB in most capabilities, there are specific products and interfaces that still depend on PI MDB for their operations.
