Downtime

The period when an entity is not producing, even though it is available for operation. Downtime is recorded only when the entity is expected to operate but is idle. Planned non-operational periods such as scheduled breaks, weekends, or other planned stops are excluded from downtime calculations, even if the entity is stopped.
