For previous releases, only one instance of an AVEVA Integration Studio application can be used in a CONNECT account. To better align with other cloud products within CONNECT (for example, AVEVA Insight), AVEVA Integration Studio will now exclusively exist within folders. AVEVA will progressively migrate this change to all existing customers over the next few months.
This enables you to better organize your AVEVA Integration Studio project templates. Each folder will be isolated and user access can be explicitly controlled for each folder. For example, as a Systems Integrator, you can have multiple folders set up for each customer, and as an end user, you can set up one folder as a sandbox to replicate your production system and another for training users.
As part of this enhancement, all your existing virtual machines (VMs) and cloud storage will be migrated over to a new folder labelled M-<account name> within your account. Updating the seat count or the snapshot (clone) count affects all folders in the account. The newly created folder gets the updated seat and snapshot (clone) count.
Newly onboarded customers can access Integration Studio from folder levels. For more information on folder management on CONNECT, refer to Folder Management in the CONNECT user documentation.
