Edit a project template

Edit a project template definition

  1. Go to the Project Templates page.

  2. To the right of the project template name, select 3dots_gray.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Update project template definition information, if needed.

    Use the Next and Previous buttons to navigate between the wizard pages.

    A next to Machine type indicates a deprecated configuration. AVEVA updates machine types as required to support new operating systems, cloud environments, and application environments.

    If you see this symbol, you can't continue or save the project template until you update to a newer Machine type.

    You cannot edit a project template that has a deprecated software suite (indicated with a .) Remove the deprecated software suite to edit the project template.

  5. On the last page, select Update Project Template.
