Set global parameters

Use the Global parameters screen to set the default values for parameters that will be used with all nodes of a product in a system suite.

User name and password fields may automatically generate suggested values.

Product-specific parameters

• ArchestrA user name and password for System Platform

  • These values are used with inter-node communication between all computers in an AVEVA Integration Studio instance of your project template.

  • By default, the system generates a user name and password for you. However, you can change those values in this screen. When an instance is created, AVEVA Integration Studio uses these values to create each node in the instance. This ensures that all nodes share the same user name and password.

  • View the username and password for any instance in the Edit instance dialog.

  • Global parameters appear in the Edit instance dialog for any instances that were created after this feature was enabled.

  • Changing these values does not affect any node of any existing instance.

  • After you set global parameter values for an instance, they cannot be changed.
