Assign CONNECT folder roles

You must enable folder management for AVEVA Integration Studio and assign specific AVEVA Integration Studio roles to enable access at the CONNECT folder level. This step allows users to read and write graphics from and to the CONNECT folder.
To manage CONNECT folder roles

Log into CONNECT as an administrator.

Select

Select the folder that contains your AVEVA Integration Studio subscription.

Locate the AVEVA Integration Studio subscription.

Select
and then select Manage roles.

Select + Assign role.

Select Service role.

Select AVEVA Integration Studio as the Service.

Select the account-level Folder.
This is the folder where your subscription resides.

Select Content Contributor as the Role.
This is required to upload Industrial Graphics to the folder.
Alternatively, if the user you are adding only needs the graphics in AVEVA Insight, then select the Content Reader role. This allows users to use the shared graphics, but not to share them.

Enter Groups to assign.

Alternatively, you can also enter individual Users.

Select Save.
When you finish assigning a role, the role appears on the Roles page.
