You can modify the machine type for a node if you need more memory or CPU capacity.

Change virtual machine (VM) configuration

  1. On the Project Templates page, expand a project template.

  2. For the instance you want to configure, select Actions (Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE)) and then select Nodes.

  3. On the Nodes page, select (Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE)) for the node you want to resize.

  4. If the VM is currently running, then select Stop to shut it down.

    The VM stops.

  5. Select Edit from the pop-up menu.

  6. In the Edit node dialog, select a different Machine type.

Note: If you select a Machine type with a lower performance profile, the system warns you that your application operation may change.

  7. Select Save.

  8. If required, restart the node.
