As well as managing remote access by instance, you can manage global remote desktop protocol (RDP) rules at the tenant level. When you define or delete a global RDP rule, the rule is set or removed as the default rule for all instances in the folder.
You must be an administrator to manage a global RDP rule. You may define up to 20 global RDP rules.
On the Global RDP rules page, you can:
-
Add, modify, or delete a global RDP rule.
-
Set a custom firewall rule name, if required, to make it easier to identify.
-
Configure the public IP address/range in which to receive access to all existing and new instances.
The Last access time column is the most recent usage of the rule.

For details, see Add a global RDP rule.
