Edit instance settings

After you launch an instance, you can edit its settings.

To edit instance settings

1. Go to the Project Templates page.

2. To the right of the project template name, select .

   A list of current instances for this project template appears.

   

3. To the right of the instance name, select , and then select Edit.

   The Edit Instance dialog appears.

   

4. As needed, change these settings:

   Setting	What you can use it for
   Expiration period	The system automatically deletes a stopped instance after a fixed period of disuse to ensure that only regularly used instances remain.
   Instance visibility	Set the visibility to Public (everyone can see it) or Private (only you and other administrators can see it).
   Shutdown behavior	Set the instance to regularly shut down by Duration (shuts down after a specified number of hours and/or minutes from the instance start time), or Time of Day to conserve resources.
   Instance owner	Transfer instance ownership to another person.

5. Select Save.
