Upgrade Notes for OSM 11​.2​.1

New license for upgrade to 11.2.1

A new license is not usually needed for upgrade. However, for upgrade to Operational Safety Management 11.2.1 only, you will need a new license.

Isolation List entity must have default status

Before upgrading the OSM database, the Isolation List entity in Admin must have a default status. You will need to manually check that the starting status of the Isolation List entity, such as New, is set to the default.

Shutdown before upgrading database

For OSM 11.2.1, there have been changes to the database that will require you to restart the Oracle service for OSM database.

Before upgrading OSM database to 11.2.1, you must:

1. Shut down the OSM web site.

2. Restart the Oracle service for OSM database.

3. Then, you can proceed with upgrade for OSM 11.2.1 database with OSM Database Tools.
