Use the OSM Database Tools to upgrade an Operational Safety Management (OSM) Database.

This software is made available to Database Administrators. The Database Tools software is accompanied by the OSM Database Tools Help that contains information on creating, upgrading, and maintaining OSM databases.

Shutdown before upgrading database

OSM requires you to restart the Oracle service for OSM database.

Before upgrading OSM database, you must:

  1. Shut down the OSM web site.

  2. Restart the Oracle service for OSM database.

  3. Then, you can proceed with upgrade for OSM database with OSM Database Tools.
