Create folders with correct permissions

Before starting the OSM installer, you will need to create two folder locations that are not created by the OSM installer.

IUSR account

The Internet User Account (IUSR) Windows account must have permissions on these folders listed below. Permissions must include full control access.

• Root folder for OSM installation

• Print folder

OSM Application (root) folder

The directory to physically install the OSM application must exist before the OSM installation starts. OSM does not create this directory.

• This location should pre-exist before OSM installation.

• You will need to add IUSR account to this folder with full control permissions.

Print folder

The path to print folder must exist before the OSM installation starts. OSM does not create this directory.

• This location should pre-exist before OSM installation.

• You will need to add IUSR account to this folder with full control permissions.
