The requirements for Oracle server that will house the AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management database.

Both the operating system and Oracle server installation must be 64-bit to provide better performance and scalability on the server.

Requirement	Description
Oracle Server Version	Oracle 19c or later Standard or Enterprise version 64-bit
Character Set	UNICODE – AL32UTF8 Oracle parameter NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS has to be CHAR
Memory	Minimum total memory for SID (SGA and PGA) must be 12GB available for the Oracle Server installation.
Tablespaces	Recommended prioritization matrix for tablespaces: 1. INDEX, DATA and LOB tablespaces on each separate physical disks. 2. INDEX, DATA and LOB tablespaces on each separate logical disks. 3. INDEX, DATA and LOB tablespaces on same disk.
Oracle privileges	SYSTEM SYS
CPU	Quad Xeon – 8 cores or more
Disk	100 GB or more
Ports Used	1521. This is the standard port; however, it can be changed.
