The Operational Safety Management web server issues commands in order to create or upgrade a new or existing Operational Safety Management Oracle database and install the Web and Administration version of the AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management application.

IIS webserver requirements

  • IIS enabled

  • HTTPS bindings enabled

  • SSL certificate installed in IIS to support https bindings in the Operational Safety Management internal service module.

    Important: AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management supports secure HTTPS protocol only.

IIS features

The Application Server and IIS service are integrated features of the Windows operating system. You will need to enable these services.
