Configuration screen (5/8): Windows Service Settings

The Windows Service exposes two HTTP endpoints:

  • OWIN Endpoint

  • SignalR Endpoint

Windows Service Name

The Log On As account for Windows service name is created during OSM install as a Network Service.

Example

AVEVA Control of Work - OSM_PROD [Network service]

Important: If Network Service permissions are changed, OSM service will not work. We recommend that you do not change the permissions on the Network Service account. If you change default permissions for the Network service account, you must adjust the permissions on OSM windows service to work.
