Uninstalling an OSM version

Regardless of version (major, minor, service pack, or patch upgrade), you must uninstall an OSM version using the exact same version of the installation application.

What is uninstalled

The OSM Uninstall program will remove all things created by the OSM Installer, including:

• Web site

• Windows service

• App pool entry will be removed during uninstall

What is not uninstalled

• Will not remove manually created folders, such as OSM application (root) folder and print folder.

Uninstall OSM Application Server

1. Stop the AVEVA Identity Manager service.

2. Stop AVEVA Control of Work - XXXX service.

3. Stop the AVEVA OSM web site in IIS.

4. Launch the same version of OSM installer that was used to install the version.

5. Click Uninstall.

   

6. Review the components to uninstall and click Continue.

   

   The uninstalling components screen displays.

   

7. When the uninstall is complete, click Finish.
