OSM web client requirements

This section describes the requirements and recommendations for accessing AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Web Application through a client.

A client environment can be one of the following.

• Web Browser on Windows workstation - Users can access Operational Safety Management with the AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Web Application.

• Web Browser on Windows Terminal Server - It is also possible to access AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Web Application through a web browser on a Windows Terminal Server.

HTTPS communication

There is a checkbox on the OSM installer to indicate the use of secure HTTPS protocol with OSM web application. You will need to do the configuration of HTTPS yourself on your server.
