Configure client certificate

In this section, you will configure the client certificate with Configurator.
Start the Configurator

On the Windows Start menu, expand AVEVA and point to Configurator.

Right-click Configurator, point to More, and select Run as administrator.

Select This machine is the System Management server and click Advanced.

On the Advanced Configuration dialog box, click the drop-down arrow next to Certificate Source and select Provided by IT (import / select).

Click the drop-down arrow next to Certificate and select the relevant certificate. This is the friendly name you assigned in the Personal folder while configuring the client certificate.

Click OK to close the Advanced dialog box.

If a Warning message box appears to say that an existing certificate has been found, click Yes to replace previous certificate.

Click Configure.

Observe the Configuration Messages in the lower pane. If not successful, you will need to try again.

When configuration is successful, click Close.
