Change Port Number of AVEVA Work Tasks Sites

Steps to change the port number of AVEVA Work Tasks Sites

Note: These steps are specifically for Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.

1. In Services/Global Settings page, select Custom Settings.

   By default, for custom settings, Website, Central Configuration, and Enterprise Console nodes will not be checked.

2. Select the above mentioned tree nodes, and then click Next.

   The Global Settings page appears.

3. Click OK.

   The Central Configuration Settings window appears.

4. Click Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

   Alternatively, go to Start > Run. Type inetmgr, and then click OK to open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

5. Find the site named "AVEVAWorkTasksSites".

6. Right-click AVEVAWorkTasksSites site and select Edit Bindings.

7. Select the http binding, and the click Edit.

8. Provide desirable port number and click OK.

9. Refresh the sites and check the updated port number is changed or not.

10. In the AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration wizard, click the icon against Create at box in the Central Configuration Settings page.

    The IIS structure screen appears.

11. Select the desired IIS path for the Central Configuration (Select the site for which you have changed the port number- here AVEVA Work TasksSites).

12. Click OK.

    The selected URL with the desired port number appears in the Central Configuration Settings Page.

13. Click OK.

    The Enterprise Console Settings page appears. If you have changed the port number of the "AVEVA Work Tasks Sites" then automatically, the port number of Enterprise Console gets changed.

14. Click Save, so that Enterprise Console gets added to the Existing Enterprise Consoles grid.

15. Click OK.
