Keys for Localizing List Names

User can also localize list names like Workflows, Users, Event Provider, Navigation, SOA Assembly Folder, BizTalk Connections, Database Connections, File Watcher, Lookup and Dynamic Lists.

The default lists have "ec_list_name_" preceded the listname

Example:

ec_list_name_workflow:Workflow

ec_list_name_Users:Users

ec_list_name_Event Providers:Event Providers

ec_list_name_Event Associations:Event Associations

ec_list_name_Forms List:Manage Forms List

These list localization keys will be available in the following path.

[AVEVA Work Tasks Installed Path]\Locales\en-US\EnterpriseConsole.txt

To localize the list name:

1. Go to [AVEVA Work Tasks Installed Path]\AVEVA\Work Tasks\Locales\en-US\ path.

2. Open EnterpriseConsole.txt file.

3. Provide list name that you would like to give in List Names section of the EnterpriseConsole.txt file as shown in the following figure.

   

4. Save the file.

Example: Localize Workflows to List of Workflows

To do the same:

5. Go to [AVEVA Work Tasks Installed Path]\AVEVA\Work Tasks\Locales\en-US\ path.

6. Open EnterpriseConsole.txt file.

7. Provide list name as 'List of Workflows' in List Names section of the EnterpriseConsole.txt file as shown in the following figure.

8. To verify this, login to the Enterprise Console.

9. From the Enterprise Console pull-down menu, select Workflows. The list name is localized from the 'Workflows' to the 'List of Workflows'.

Note: If already the application is opened, then just refresh the page to reflect the localized name.

User can follow the above steps to localize the other lists.

Note:If user has created any dynamic list then an entry should be made into [AVEVA Work Tasks Installed Path]\AVEVA\Work Tasks\Locales\en-US\EnterpriseConsole.txt and "ec_list_name_" should precede the new listname.

Example: Assume that the 'Employee List' is created at the repository level. The entry 'ec_list_name_employee_list' should be placed in [AVEVA Work Tasks Installed Path]\AVEVA\Work Tasks\Locales\en-US\EnterpriseConsole.txt and later you can localize this dynamic list.ec_list_name_employee_list:Employees List
