Create a Private View

This section provides detailed procedures for creating a Private view.
The Private view option can be used if you want to create a view according to your personal choice. After this option is selected, the other users will not be able to see this view option in the View drop-down list.
Scenario
Consider the case of Support Incident List items. The Telematics representative wants to create a view consisting of the incidents which are of the In Progress status. The representative can select the Private view option to achieve this task.
To add a private view

In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Lists, and then click Support Incidents. The Support Incidents list items page appears.

Go to the View drop-down list field and select Create View.

Type the name In Progress for this view of the list.

Click the Private radio button in the Scope of the View to make this view inaccessible to other users.

Select the Grid Columns Service User, Incident Status, Business Unit, Service, Service Level, Incident Type, Incident Origin, and Modified By.

In the Filter Column field, select Incident Status, Is Equal To, and Value from the filter option drop-down lists.

Type In Progress in the filter condition field.

Click Create View.
To view the Private view
Login as the user who has created the private view and select the InProgress view from the View drop-down list in the Support Incidents list screen. All the list items which have the incident status as In Progress will be listed in this view. If you login as a different user then you can see all the other views except this view.
