Package

Using the Package feature of AVEVA Work Tasks, you can deploy one or more artifacts from one environment or repository to another in a easy and simple manner.

The artifacts can be deployed along with its associated and child artifacts, configuration state and containment state from one environment or repository to another.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that the AVEVA Work Tasks-Client Service is running while installing or uninstalling the package.

• In an environment that consists of multiple servers and clients, ensure that the AVEVA Work Tasks-Client Service is running on the machine which has the Enterprise Console site configured.

Note: If you have created and exported a package in the previous version of AVEVA Work Tasks, then ensure that you use the previous version to import the package. Otherwise, you must upgrade to the latest version of AVEVA Work Tasks, create new package template, add the artifacts again to the package template, and then export the package.
