Editing Login Messages

This database tool gives the system administrator ability to add a system message that displays when a user logs in to OSM. It also shows OSM version and when the OSM application was last upgraded.

Login credentials

The application needs login credentials before the database tool can start.

• The database user must be cow_owner and cannot be changed.

Open the edit messages database tool

1. On the OSM Database Tools main window, click Message.

   

2. On the Logon screen, enter the Oracle database connection details.

   

3. Click Logon. The Tool window appears.
