Cleanup Database Tool

Cleanup/reset database or drop user

This database tool enables you to clean up data or reset data in the OSM Database.

Database credentials

The application needs login credentials before the database tool can start.

• When Cleanup is selected, the user name is preset to cow_owner and cannot be changed.

Before you begin

1. Stop the OSM web site with IIS Manager.

2. Stop the AVEVA Control of Work service with Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

3. Use DB Tools to stop all jobs.

Cleanup database

4. On the OSM Database Tools main window, click Cleanup.

   

5. On the Logon screen, enter the Oracle database connection details.

   

6. Click Logon.

After cleanup

7. Use DB Tools to Run OSM Privileges.

8. Use DB Tools to start all jobs.

9. Start the AVEVA Control of Work service with Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

10. Start the OSM web site with IIS Manager.
