Run OSM privileges

Sometimes database privileges need to be refreshed. This is done automatically at end of an upgrade.

You can also do it manually. For example, when an SMTP server has been changed, or for another reason.

Note: This task MUST not be done in a production environment if the database is in operational mode.

Guidelines

Note: Database will automatically be set in upgrade mode when task is running.

Run OSM privileges

1. Select the Run OSM privileges radio button.

2. (Optional) If only the name of the SMTP server needs has changed, then select Only perform SMTP server changes checkbox. You must have configured the new name of SMTP server name in OSM Admin first.

3. Click Privileges to perform the task.
