Jobs - Start or stop
The OSM database has a set of jobs that run when the database is in operational mode. You may want to start or stop these jobs for various reasons.
-
If you are upgrading through multiple versions, you can stop OSM jobs while upgrading and then restart the jobs after the upgrade.
-
You will need to stop OSM jobs before copying data from one database to another, such as from a production environment to a test environment.
