System requirements

Review the following software and hardware requirements before you install the latest version of AVEVA PI System Connector 3 (PSC3).

Software requirements

The following software is required on the host where the connector is installed:

Supported operating systems

PI System Connector is a 64-bit application.

The following operating systems are supported for use with this product:

• Windows Server 2025

• Windows Server 2022

• Windows Server 2019

• Windows Server 2016

• Windows 11

The latest service packs and updates to the operating systems are recommended

Supported software

The software listed below is available for installation on other hosts, along with the minimum version requirements:

• PI System

  • Data Archive 2018 SP3 Patch 1 or higher

  • PI AF server 2018 SP3 Patch 2 or higher

• PI System Connector Broker

  Version prerequisites should match the version number of the PI System Connector.

  Note: PI System Connector requires that the destination AF Server and Data Archive version must be later than or equal to the source AF Server and Data Archive

Hardware requirements

The following hardware is required or recommended:

• RAM: 4 GB minimum, 8 GB or more recommended

• Hard drive space: 25 GB or more

• Processor: Dual-core minimum, quad-core or greater recommended
