Configure health points

The Health Update Interval is configurable through the Shared Data Source Options in the connector configuration interface and applies to all health points updated by the connector service.

By default, this interval is set to 5 seconds, providing near real-time visibility into connector and broker health without introducing unnecessary overhead. Changes to this setting affect how often health information is refreshed but do not alter which health points are exposed. A value of 0 disables counter updates.

A dedicated Heart Beat health point operates independently of the configured update interval and is always updated on a fixed five second cycle. This ensures a consistent liveness signal is available even if other health points are updated less frequently.
