After launching the AVEVA PI System Connector 3 UI application, the Overview tab displays.

The Overview tab provides a high-level snapshot of the connector, showing its configuration, data sources, and overall status to help you quickly understand how it is set up and operating. Use the Overview tab to select a data source for your connector.

To configure a connector:

  1. Enter a Connector Name.

  2. Select Add and then choose a data source type from one of the following:

    After selecting the data source type, the corresponding options are available to the user. See Configure the replication mode for additional information on all three data source types.

  3. Select Apply Changes to save the configuration. You cannot select another tab until the changes have been saved.
