Configure connector to send data to a Broker

Setting up the connector to transmit data to a broker allows AVEVA PI System Connector 3 (PSC3) to transfer AF structures and PI point data across networks or multi-tier systems when direct communication to the target PI System is unavailable.

In this configuration, the connector delivers its data to a broker, which then forwards the data to the next system in the path - either a destination PI System or another broker when multiple hops are required.

This approach is designed for environments that include DMZs, segmented networks, or multiple data handoffs and relies on proper certificate configuration and port alignment to establish a secure, trusted communication channel between components.
