Monitor caching status

AVEVA PI System Connector 3 (PSC3) exposes a small set of status indicators allowing you to monitor connector health and determine whether data is flowing normally or being cached due to downstream conditions.

These indicators help identify connectivity issues or conditions that may trigger disk caching.

Connector Status Indicators

The connector exposes the following status counters:

• IncomingDeviceStatus

  Indicates the connector’s connection status to the source PI Data Archive.

• OutgoingDeviceStatus

  Indicates the connector’s connection status to the broker or downstream destination.

• ErrorCount

  Tracks the number of errors encountered by the connector during operation.
