AVEVA PI System Connector 3 (PSC3) supports PI point replication using the Replicate Data Archive only and Replicate AF and Data Archive options. Regardless of which option is selected, PI points will only be replicated if they are included in that data source. In Data Archive only data sources, that means the PI Point name matches the PI Point Query associated with that data source. In AF and Data Archive data sources, that means the PI Point is referenced by AF data that is also being replicated.
The following table describes the relationship between the configured data source snapshot and compression options and the resulting snapshot values and compression attributes sent to the destination.
