For each Data Archive server, use PI System Explorer to confirm that the connector is collecting data.
Before you start
Verify the following items to ensure data collection.

Verify the connector service is started.

From the Windows Start menu, run the services.msc command.

In the Services window, verify the connector service status is Started.

Verify the connector is running.

Open the logging tab of the connector.

Change logging level to informational (see Message logs for additional details)

Confirm no error messages display and the informational messages specify updates are being sent, or in the case that the destination is entirely up to date, that the connector is checking for updates.

Verify the data source is connected. Under Data Sources, verify that each data source shows the status Running with a green check mark (
).

Procedure

Open PI System Explorer.

Select Database.

In the Select Database window, select the AF database that is configured to receive the data.

Select Elements.
-
Navigate to the AF element of interest.

Select the Attributes tab.
The AF attributes that are PI data references should have proper time stamps under the Time Stamp column.
If a Broker is selected as the destination, the host for that Broker can be found on the Destination tab.
Note: AVEVA™ PI System Connector only supports connection to a single PI System Connector Broker.
