Configure the Broker to forward data

After the connector is configured to send data to a broker, the broker must be set up to relay that data to its next destination.

In this section, you define whether the broker forwards data to a PI System or to another broker, and provide the required host, port, and certificate information so the downstream connection can be established securely and reliably.

If an environment contains multiple data handoffs across DMZ's, you can chain a maximum of three brokers together to accommodate each transfer.
