You can also monitor the AVEVA Historian I/O Server from within the Operations Control Management Console. For more information on the Operations Control Management Console, see About Administrative Tools in the AVEVA Historian Administration Guide.
The AVEVA HistorianAVEVA Historian I/O Server is a read-only server; clients cannot update data.
The AVEVA Historian I/O Server sends the original OPC quality as it was stored in the AVEVA Historian. The OPC quality remains the same throughout the system, including storage, retrieval, and the AVEVA Historian I/O Server.
