Permanent storage

Permanent storage locations are used to store critical data (for example, reactor trips) which must be excluded from the "circular buffer" management, so the Storage subsystem will never try to delete or move to the alternate location the permanent history blocks. This, however, may break the continuity of the history timeline in certain scenarios, and should be used with care, especially when data revision operations can be performed across time intervals overlapping with history blocks stored in the permanent storage location. For that reason, this storage location is supported only for backward compatibility, and it is recommended to use a larger alternate location instead to ensure that important blocks are never deleted..
Data in a permanent storage location can be accessed and viewed along with the data stored in the circular storage location.
