Configure an e-mail action

An e-mail action sends a pre-configured e-mail message when an event occurs. For the event system to support e-mail actions, you must properly configure all of the following:

• SQL Server login

• Microsoft Outlook Mail Client

• SQL Mail functionality for Microsoft SQL Server

• E-mail action for the event system
