About the startup process

When AVEVA Historian is started, these things happen:

Start the associated Microsoft SQL Server database, if not already running.

Verify start information stored in the SQL Server and the registry.

Start each Historian process.
-
Create a new history block on disk to store data.
-
Start communication with the data sources (IDASs).
-
Begin storing data.
