SIGN examples

Example 1

The following expression returns the sign of the value of the difference in flow rates between two pumps.

SIGN( Pump101.Flow - Pump102.Flow )

For each data point in the results, the value will be:

• -1 when the second pump has a higher flow rate

• 0 when the flow rates are equal

• 1 when the first pump has a higher flow rate.
