Save, print, and email an annotated chart

Once you have made annotations to a chart, you can save it as an image file, print it, or email it.
To save an annotated chart

From the File menu, select Save.

Click Save as.. to save the chart as a trend file.

Click Save data.. to save a text file containing the chart's data. Select a file type from the list.

Click Save image.. to save the chart as an image file. Select an image type from the list.

Type a name for the file and click Save.
To print an annotated chart

From the Home menu, click Print. A standard Windows Print dialog box appears.

Specify any printing options and click OK.
To email an annotated chart
Note: AVEVA Historian uses the system's default email application to send email. For more information about configuring default applications, refer to your Microsoft Windows documentation. If you do not have a default email application configured, you cannot email charts.

From the Home menu, click Send To. The default application for sending email launches.

Send the email according to the directions for your default email application.
